The ISARR platform consists of a number of modules that are interconnected, so you get more out of each component when they work together, but they can also be used individually.
The system can support both routine operations and seamless escalation into emergency / crisis management, saving precious time and resources.
The sections below give a basic overview of the core modules and functions. Please get in touch for a live demonstration
Profile & Visualise
Profile & Visualise all elements of your operations, from countries or business units to buildings, projects or suppliers – all displayed on an interactive map for immediate context and action, bringing together all of your key risk, security and business continuity information into a single interactive view.
Asset register showing summary information and risk profiles for all internal and external locations, assets and resources. Search and filter to quickly find or cluster portfolio and resources. View all profiles on an interactive map.
Custom asset types and profiles can include locations, business units, people, projects, supply chain etc. Set ratings and controls per asset and capture all key information including plans, procedures, images and any other file type all in one place
Comprehensive country profiles specific to the organisations business operations that can include external country assessments and alerts information for immediate context. Group all assets and resources within each country profile including staff headcount.
Create and define threat categories then profile them using probability/impact sliders to set a risk profile for each threat. Based on the preferred methodology a Risk profile is then assigned to the asset/country with a coloured map icon based on the type and risk level.
Management & Permissions
Comprehensive individual user and group based permissions to configure what a user can see, and the functions they can manage. This gives complete control over asset profiles, information and ratings meaning that users can take a shared responsibility to manage the profile across the organisation
Risk Dashboard & Triggers
Configure Key Risk Indicators and track over time against assigned thresholds/tolerance. Red/Amber/Green (RAG) Dashboard gives a dynamic visual count (with notifications) to any changes to risk levels. Mini map and recent incidents log shows summary information on current events and incidents.
Interactive mapping with multiple mapping layers to choose from. Assets and/or incidnets can be viewed and clustered to give rich context to asset profiles and risks, alongside actual incidnets and events. Drawing tools for routes, areas, radius and distance
PDF based reports of all country and asset information can be exported easily and quickly allowing the creation of comprehensive briefing reports and documents to share across departments and teams, as well as decision support in a crisis or major incident
Online Risk Assessments
Online assessments based on International standards and/or tailored to the organisations existing process, with automated management & delivery. Assessments capture gaps and actions in a comprehensive task manager, and provide additional high level analysis for audit and compliance
Manage & Collaborate
Easily collate, manage and proactively share external intelligence assessments, events and incidents that could potentially impact the organisation, as well as internal routine incidents and events – all monitored within a context rich timeline that enables sharing, notification and collaboration across all stakeholders for swift action and resolution before they become an issue
Create structured categories for capturing key all report types, including intelligence and internal incidents and events. Tailored and relevant to the organisation, and providing the ability to extract detailed metrics to support an evidenced based approach to risk management
Grade incidents and events collated based on internal severity and expected response procedures such as US NIMS or UK Gold/Silver/Bronze command structures. Link procedural workflows based on your response process
Alerts & Notifcations
Integrated email and SMS notifications based on manually or automated workflow allowing the sharing and escalation of key information based on geographic location, asset type or issue.
All external and internal intelligence, incidents or events can be automatically and/or manually geolocated to give location based context for proximity to key assets and resources
Heat Clusters & Analytics
Map layers and clustering provides decision support for operations and intelligence based on incident and event types, volume and location within an interactive mapping platform
Third Party Feeds/Information
Integrate third party data and information via the ISARR API, for example, populate Country profiles with third party assessments and information, or travel safety alerts to give rich external context all within a single platform
Search & Analytics
Comprehensive search functions with automated high level analytics and integrated mapping to give both text based data, and visual geographic context. Easily exported to Excel or PDF formats
Create comprehensive reports across incidents and events with just a few clicks. Produce briefing packs for Countries or Asset profiles as PDF's, to easily and quickly share comprehensive internal and external information without manually collation and formatting
User defined notifications based on category type (intelligence, events or incidents etc), asset type and geographic proximity to ensure that the most relevant and key information is received, regardless of where, when or who recorded it.
Respond & Recover
Respond & Recover from crises with a single unified view of information, issues and actions using a Commonly Recognised Information Picture
(CRIP) – minimising the risk of misunderstandings, and physical and reputational losses, as well as supporting the coordination of ongoing business continuity/recovery process to minimise operational disruption

Tasks & Actions
Task tracker supports key actions and activities that can be automated based on the type of crisis and relevant response procedures, as well as dynamically created
After Action Review & Audit
Quickly export the crisis log and associated actions and files to assist in after action reviews. A complete audit of information, actions and decisions is available for export
Custom icons and markers and a comprehensive annotation/drawing function for areas, routes, radius and other layers to communicate out of bounds, evacuation routes, impact areas or any other geographic based crisis information
Comprehensive permissions and groups ensures that specific information can be shared and controlled across the command structure to support a coordinated, structured and appropriate response
Training & Exercising
Training & Exercising areas that mirror the live platform supports the training needs of the crisis team. Conducted online and in the same operational environment ensures both realism and time/cost efficiencies
